The Desolation Wilderness borders areas on the National Forest so there are a lot of hiking and ATV activities that can be accessed directly from some campgrounds. If that's not for you, REPM has locations for watercraft rentals or feel free to just sit back and relax at your campground and enjoy the fresh air.
